Redwood City

Redwood City, aglow in one of the Bay Area's best climate's, offers diverse housing options from entry-level condos to hilltop estates, all with an enviable commute location minutes from many of the Peninsula's top employers. Estate neighborhoods include Edgewood Park and Emerald Hills, which is a unique enclave unto itself straddling Woodside overlooking the Bay.

Redwood City is a community of just over 75,000 residents, and is a city devoted to preserving its rich history while carefully planning for its future.  This waterfront Bay Area city is at the seat of San Mateo County and is a hot spot of revitalization that rivals Oakland in the East Bay. Covering a large swath of San Francisco Bay shoreline and reaching into the Santa Cruz Mountains, Redwood City covers diverse terrain and is itself a diverse and dynamic Bay Area city.  It is home to the only deepwater port in the southern San Francisco Bay, and has become the fastest growing small bulk port in the state.

Downtown, the historic Redwood City Courthouse has been reborn as the new Redwood Courthouse Square, a revitalized and restored historic building amid landscaped grounds that acts as the centerpiece of Redwood City and plays host to community, art and music events. Surrounded by shopping and restaurants, downtown Redwood City also features a new 20-theatre cinema and retail center. Fox Theatre is in the heart of downtown Redwood City and was inducted into the National Register of Historic Places. Since the re-opening of the theatre in 2010, downtown Redwood City has became one of the most happening entertainment spots between San Jose and San Francisco.  There are over 100 events per year, and a night on the town is an excellent way to experience Redwood City.
